Organisational Consulting – Organisational Standards and Procedures Manual

CLIENT CONTEXT
A telecommunications operator with a customer base exceeding 80,000, operating in a growing market under strong competitive pressure. Business expansion and increasing operational complexity required higher organisational maturity, stronger internal control, and enhanced structured process management.
The organisation was in a consolidation phase, requiring the design and alignment of internal processes to establish solid foundations for sustainable and efficient growth.
CLIENT CHALLENGE
The absence of a transversal standards and procedures framework resulted in inconsistent practices across departments, excessive reliance on informal knowledge, and difficulties in monitoring critical processes.
This situation constrained operational efficiency, increased error risk, and hindered the onboarding of new employees, as well as the consistent dissemination of organisational best practices and cross-functional collaboration.
THE ID SERVIÇOS SOLUTION
The engagement began with a detailed mapping of key organisational processes, enabling the identification of critical points, redundancies, and improvement opportunities. Based on this diagnosis and a structured gap analysis, an Organisational Standards and Procedures Manual was developed, designed to be clear, functional, and practical.
Additionally, a corporate document management portal was implemented, centralising organisational documentation and ensuring simple, structured, and intuitive access. Training and awareness initiatives were also conducted to ensure proper adoption of the new working models.
BUSINESS IMPACT
The organisation began operating with standardised processes, improved operational predictability, and strengthened internal controls. Greater organisational clarity contributed to efficiency gains, reduced errors, and the establishment of solid foundations for continuous improvement in processes and internal communication.
