The Sustainable Employment Commitment measure aims to promote the hiring of unemployed individuals, particularly young people and persons with disabilities, to encourage and support the net creation of jobs, and to enhance job quality and gender equality in access to and conditions within the labour market.
Financial incentives are granted to employers for the conclusion of permanent employment contracts with unemployed individuals registered with the Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP, I.P.).
The financial support includes a hiring incentive and a contribution support mechanism to assist with social security payments.
