Privacy Policy

This document provides an overview of how the Ideias Dinâmicas Group processes the personal data it holds, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council – the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – and other applicable privacy and data protection legislation, including local laws supplementing the GDPR.

Whenever personal data is required, its use is governed by this document and carried out in compliance with applicable data protection legislation.

The Privacy Policy of the Ideias Dinâmicas Group, hereinafter referred to as the Group, describes the relevant aspects regarding the data collected, the purposes for which it is processed, how data subjects may access it, and other related matters.

1) The Ideias Dinâmicas Group

The Ideias Dinâmicas Group comprises a set of internationally oriented companies dedicated to providing services across various business areas.

It is composed of teams with recognised expertise in their respective fields, continuously assessing new business opportunities and creating conditions for entrepreneurs to develop and formalise their ideas and projects. The Group ensures solid platforms for launching new business initiatives, considering innovation as a key differentiating factor.

2) Scope of Application

The Group is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of its Employees, Clients, Website Users and Service Providers. In this context, this Privacy Policy has been prepared to demonstrate its commitment and compliance with privacy and personal data protection rules.

3) Definitions

Personal Data – Any information relating to a Data Subject that allows their identification.

Data Subject – Any identified or identifiable natural person to whom the Personal Data relates. A natural person may be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to a name, civil or tax identification number, location data, online identifiers (such as IP addresses and logs), or one or more factors specific to physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity. Users of the Group’s websites, applications and digital platforms are considered Data Subjects.

Processing – Any operation performed on Personal Data, whether by automated means or not, including collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination, alignment, restriction, erasure or destruction, as defined under the GDPR.

Special categories of personal data include data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data used for identification, and data concerning health.

4) Responsible Entity and Responsibilities

The Group has internally established a “Personal Data Protection Committee” responsible for ensuring compliance with GDPR requirements.

This Committee is composed of the Data Protection Officer of each Group company, representatives from the Information Technology Department, Legal Department, Human Resources Department and Organisation & Quality Department.

5) Collection and Processing of Data

The Group collects only the data considered essential and processes it according to its intended purpose.

Personal data may be collected through interactions such as:

  • General enquiries
  • Requests for information
  • Downloading documentation
  • Commercial and sales processes
  • Client management
  • Accounting, tax and administrative management
  • Compliance with legal obligations
  • Litigation management
  • Human resources management
  • Marketing and event management (physical and/or online)
  • Information security control

Depending on the nature of the interaction, and only where necessary, the Group may request data such as name, email address, postal address, telephone number, identification details, tax number, date of birth, nationality, marital status, academic qualifications, profession, banking details, and records of communications maintained with the client.

Marketing data processing is based on the data subject’s prior, free, informed and explicit consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

6) Purpose of Processing

Personal data is processed strictly for legitimate purposes, including:

  • Improving communication with data subjects
  • Statistical and business performance analysis
  • Human resources management

  • Invoicing

Personal data is retained only for the period necessary to fulfil its purpose.

7) Automated Decision-Making

The Group does not generally rely on automated decision-making processes as defined under the GDPR. If such procedures are adopted, data subjects will be informed accordingly.

8) Access and Data Sharing

  • Access to personal data is limited to employees who require it for contractual, pre-contractual or legal obligations.
  • Data may be shared within Group companies for service provision and internal reporting, always respecting lawful processing principles.
  • Data may also be shared with subcontractors and suppliers acting on behalf of the Group under GDPR-compliant agreements.
  • Transfers outside the European Union occur only where legally required or with explicit consent. Where third-country service providers are involved, appropriate safeguards are implemented.

9) Data Retention

Personal data is retained according to legal, regulatory and operational requirements. Once retention periods expire, data is securely destroyed.

10) Data Subject Rights

The Group guarantees all GDPR rights, including:

  • Right to erasure
  • Right to restriction
  • Right to object
  • Right to data portability

Complaints may also be submitted to the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).

11) Obligation to Provide Data

In the context of a commercial relationship, personal data necessary for contractual obligations must be provided. Failure to provide such data may prevent contract execution.

12) Data Security

The Group implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.

13) Amendments to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated at any time. It is reviewed at least annually. Updates will be published on the website.
